Fried Chicken Sliders
Last month’s edition of FOOD Network Magazine featured an article highlighting the best sandwiches around the county. Alexandria’s own No. 9 Lounge (The bar behind Evening Star) was noted in ”50 Sandwiches, 50 States” for their Fried Chicken Sliders. There are actually a number of items on the lounge menu that I’ve been meaning to try, and I plan on doing so this weekend, but I’m quite sure you can’t go wrong with fried chicken drenched in redeye gravy served on sweet potato biscuits.
